Photography for me often becomes a spiritual journey looking for the perfect photograph, I will often find a subject and sit in peace and silence letting my mind wonder where it wants to go whilst studying my subject and then photographing it,
I love to photograph water whether its the sea, rivers, or just a puddle, its the reflections fluidity, wind and clouds that i find fascinating,

I photograph to record my life and places i have found, I photograph to say i was there and experienced something I found either beautiful or sad, maybe even the feelings i was experiencing.

I also enjoy portraiture. I love to photograph people. finding the person that is inside. I often do this in the persons own home where they feel comfortable or in a special place that is dear to them. of course I can use a studio but I think this can sometimes become sterile and false.
